Baby it's Cold Outside

This was an ad that I created in December, 2007.  It was an email sent out to our Host Families, and I was really happy with the way it turned out.

goAUPAIR Photography Contest

I tried to use as many photos of the Au Pairs and Host Family children in our ads as possible.  I wanted to avoid using stock photographs as much as possible.  I talked to our management team, and got permission to do a photography contest, in order to gain more photos for us to use.

This was an email sent to our Host Families and our Au Pairs, and was also a template for a landing page.

The contest was a huge success, and we received a lot of photographs that we then used throughout the year on our website, newsletters, flyers, etc.

It was really fun to receive emails from families that were excited to see their photos used in this way.  One Host Mother told me that her children felt that they were famous since their photo was on the internet.

Las Vegas International Representative Conference

In October of 2006, goAUPAIR held their International Representative Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was asked to create email announcements, powerpoint templates for presenters, schedules, name badges, etc. I also filmed the conference with a Canon XL2 digital camera, and created a set of DVDs of the two day event. Representatives unable to attend the conference were sent copies of the DVDs as well as all future International Representatives that signed with goAUPAIR.

Mother's Day Promotion

This was an ad that I created and ran in the "Parent Pages" in Illinois for one of our Local Area Representatives.

The Adventure Continues!

goAUPAIR wanted to run a spring promotion, and asked me to create advertisements that would be dramatically different from previous ads created by the company.

I wanted to really create something eye catching and exciting.  I began to work with an idea of creating an online treasure hunt for the families and their children.  They would be given a treasure map, and have to visit assorted landing pages, complete puzzles and riddles and eventually would complete the viral course and receive a "treasure" of some sort as a reward.

Unfortunately, management decided to do a straight forward promotion, but they did like the look of the graphics that I had designed.  An old parchment background, a font in the same vein as "Indiana Jones", reduced fees and a free digital camera to all families that either signed up, or renewed with the agency.
This was the button for the front page of the website

This was an email sent to all of our Inquiry, potential customers and short list families.

This page was sent to all of our families that were up for renewal in the coming months.

This was a postcard that was sent to targeted families in select cities.

The promotion turned out to be quite popular and successful, and I was really happy with the finished project.
